Root Remove Superuser App ASAP

Newbie
I rooted my HTC Desire a couple of months back but I have now bought a Blackberry so I am going to sell my HTC Desire however I cant unroot it, I have tried to unroot it using RUU_Bravo_TMO_UK_1.21.110.4_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_127570_signed and I am running 2.12. Whenever I run it I get an error saying that it isnt connected properly, I have also made sure my HTC Sync is updated and it still isnt working. Anybody able to help?

I gotta ask, why are you unrooting?

I would of just installed a stock Sense custom ROM on there and just left it alone..that way its back to stock HTC Sense ROM but still able to be played with if the new owner wants. No sense really farting around with it unless someone asks or its needed for warranty reasons.

The new bold looks quite enticing. I had the 9000 and loved it until I got Android and I LOVED that. I like Touch screen but I like physical KB too. And the intergration into contacts with BB is great. Maybe ICS will bring this level to us?

But I wouldnt go back. Nope.

To be honest I dont really know what im doing haha, I was just following a tutorial to unroot but for some reason it wont work. Also I have to unroot because I am selling it to a Store and they test it for around 30 minutes and I have a feeling they would reject it if it is rooted. Im only using a Blackberry because I dont really use the apps on my HTC anymore due to me buying an iPad and I really wanted Blackberry Messenger haha.

it's an exe program that runs on windows. Plug in phone by usb and follow onscreen instructions. It WILL wipe the phone! so backup anything you need.

thats fair really, though I know the stores here where I live actually welcome if its rooted, especially a device like the Desire...mainly so they don't have to see it come back with someone crying bout small internal memory lol hell the phone store that I visit regular (or at least did ALOT before I got my Desire last year) actually roots and jailbreaks most of the big name phones most often before sale anyway lol

I gotta ask...you wanted blackberry messenger? EVEN with the recent problems they had (still having in some parts of the country) :D lol sorry...had to dig at RIM there a lil bout that one lol

Okay thanks, Im doing that now :D I didnt want to take the risk on them saying that they cant take it cause it is rooted. Would just be a waste of time and money so thought the best option would be to unroot. Yeah I know it had its problems a few weeks ago but I thought that was clear now, seems okay so far for many anyway. But I know what you mean, I just decided that I might aswell buy a Blackberry now to see what the fuss of BlackBerry Messenger is because in a years time I have a new upgrade for a phone so I can get either a new Android in 1 year or decide to get a new blackberry, seemed silly keeping my HTC for another year when I can experiance both a Blackberry and Android before my upgrade :)
