remove the SIM cover easily

Put on a pair of rubber dishwashing gloves, and follow the method shown in the manual. You won't need to use much pressure, the cover slides off like a breeze.

I have had no problems with the sim/sd cover

it comes right off with no problems

i just flip the phone over and make sure my fingers are far away from any where the plastic is, the plastic covers a little on the side of the phone

Sim card door is a breeze to remove.

Battery door - - a different issue. Already broke 1 taking it off.

The easiest way to pop that off was instead of trying to wedge your fingernail where they placed the notch to pop it off, place your nail between the door and volume rocker (portion that would be used to turn volume down). Works everytime for me.

On the Sim/SD door I just squeeze the sides and it'll slide down no problem. I finally had to open the battery door yesterday and although it is tricky I used a guitar pick to pry gently at the notch then on the other side then it started to come off without much trouble. Certainly there could have been a better way to engineer it. I mean honestly still having a iPhone I've heard the argument by Apple haters that a non user replaceable battery is bad thing but if the battery door is such a pain in the ass and it breaks then how is that a advantage? I've owned iPhones for over 2 years and never had a battery problem nor has anyone else I know with one. Just my 2 cents. End of rant.

Both doors pop off very easily for me. For the battery cover, I just use my fingernail and pop it out. I line up the cover, and press it in with a snap to get it back on. It just took a couple tries before it became easy for me. The sim cover, I just carefully pull it down.

The easiest way that I've found to remove the sim cover is to grab the thing in your right hand (holding the phone in your left) and wiggle it while applying downward pressure. The wiggle action works much better than a straight downward pull. The battery door, OTOH, is a *disaster* waiting to happen. I can not believe that the HTC engineers signed off on that thing as an acceptable device.
