remove Verizon bloatware?

I know this has been posted before, but is there still no way to remove bloatware like Blockbuster without rooting?

I've seen posts about LaunchPro hiding the icon. Does that mean when I click All Apps the icons will be gone?

Yes if you use launcher pro or go launcher, probably others too, then you can hide then and the icons will not be there. The apps will still be installed but you won't see them, if you root then you can remove the apps completely or flash a rom without the bloatware.

You can remove CityID without rooting, but that's about it. Open CityID, click Menu - Settings - Subscription Status - Cancel Trial - Confirm, and then it will ask you if you want to uninstall, and click Yes/Confirm.

You can also go into the Blockbuster app settings and tell it to stop checking for movie updates, which will save some battery usage.

Maybe you can use one of the exploits used in the rooting process (psneuter I think) that gains temp root and just remove the bloatware without perm rooting.
