Root Remove white screens

I'd like to remove, replace or modify the two HTC white screens that show in the boot routine so that I'm not blinding myself or anyone else when I start my phone.

Suggestions?
 
One is your splash you need S-OFF for this, do a lil search you'll find it the other is your boot screen.

Nice one! I know! I always push the power button and put the phone face down for a few minutes. Good call on the question. I like DARK. I am in the sun for too many hours a day so any nocturnal or home invasion of brightness is unwanted for me too. Plus, announcing to the entire bar that you have just rebooted your phone is no fun either.

What I would like more is to be able to skin all of the wigets and apps to make them have a dark background and lighter letters and accents.

I'm no vampire, I am just in Florida and I teach suba diving part time. Man, DARKNESS is comfort.

Oh, that is also one of the reasons I like Jager ROM so much.
