Root Removed/Deleted People widget/app ????

RootNow

Lurker
Firstly -- I just read all the "Similar threads" and did not find a solution.

the People widget or app (which is it)...
After I rooted my phone (HTC EVO 4g)...I somehow deleted the standard "People" thingy and now I cannot enter and save any phone numbers. I did a detailed search of my phone and sd card to no avail. Where can I find it's replacement......whats a phone without People to call or text.
I tried downloading a couple apps for contacts, but I still get a message that something is not working and can't save the darn phone number.

I hope someone can help SOON!!

TIA --

Hello, I moved you to the all things root section where you will get faster root-related answers.

If I were you I would wipe dalvik cache & cache in recovery & reflash your ROM. You will not lose any data and all stock apps and widgets will return

If you're still on the stock ROM, now is a great time to think about flashing a customized ROM. This will fix your problem as well. You will lose saved apps and data though unless you back them up with an application like Titanium backup from the market
