Help Removing an App

froglaps

Lurker
I have a samsung commando, somehow, somewhere my phone had an app installed that i can not remove!
It's listed as "MPushToTalk" when I go to settings>manage>all
It appears on my notice bar up top that it is not connected... needless to say it is very annoying.
When i attempt to uninstall it.. It turns my phone off!

How do I remove this annoying P.O.S.?

Welcome to Android Forums. Thanks for joining the community. :)

Just wanted to let you know I moved your thread to the Casio G’zOne Commando (support) Forum hopefully get it some better responses.

Does it have touch whiz too? Kidding aside... If it is a Casio gzone commando the new push to talk app is bloatware from big red. You'll have to find a method to root it and then you can remove it.this can brick yourphone if done incorrectly. Please refer to the all things root subcategory for more info. Good luck.

there's currently no exploit for commandos that carry the m100 update though.... unless i completely missed something..

Thank you all for your response.. I couldn't recall any download that I did to end up with this program. So just more crap from V

I've never tried rooting a phone, guess I'll deal with it, sure wish they would give options to remove their crap!

If I figure out how to "thank you" I will. much appreciated!
