removing apps

is there anyway of removing pre installed apps like the weather of google talk??

You can delete them with root explrorer, tho I have never gotten it to work
Every time I remove an app, they just pop back in a sec -.-

you have to delet them using adb, with any kind of explorer you don't have sufficient privileges

anyway it should be something like this

get into recovery
adb-windows shell mount /system
adb-windows shell rm /system/app/Stock.apk
adb-windows shell rm /system/app/com.htc.StockWidget.apk

Why remove them? They're part of the OS

well if you don't use stocks, twitter or some other than they are a waste of space...
also you should be careful what you remove and make a backup first...so if anything goes wrong you can fix it.

Are you rooted? That's the only way you're able to remove stock apps. hek99's instruction only works if your Desire is rooted.

no im not rooted and would notlike to go down that road as i know i'll mess it up lol. i want them removed as i dont use them and things like google talk is always running
