Help Removing Aps

How do you remove aps from the Captivate? I found that if you go back into the marketplace there is a button to do it on the ap in there, but is there any way to remove an ap from the phone without going into Marketplace?

Menu (leftmost bottom button - looks like piece of paper) -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications.

Select the app you want to delete. Tap the Uninstall button.

Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications. Tap the app you want to uninstall, choose uninstall.

There are also uninstaller apps on the Market, but frankly, I see no need for them as this can be done easily from the phone itself.

You can uninstall the aps installed by user from Settings/Applications/Manage application
Aps in phone ROM can be deleted only on rooted phone with Root Explorer, Terminal or via ADB from computer.

Ok. I was thinking of maybe getting rid of some of the APs that came with it, but sounds like that may be more hassle than it's worth.

For me, I went with using Home Switcher to set a new default launcher (Launcher Pro Plus). It's actually quite easy to do. With LPP, I am then able to customize the apps you see when opening the app drawer ... so I hid all the AT&T ones, plus any that have fees/subscriptions, and any I just won't use. I looove this feature! There are some other definitely bonuses to LPP once you get used to it, too. I wasn't hating the stock look/feel, but I'm quite happy with this new setup. It's certainly an easy fix if you really want certain things hidden, without any major steps to be taken (no rooting).
