Removing bluetooth devices?

First - let me know if this is not the correct discussion group.

How do you remove a bluetooth device?

Path I'm taking:
- Settings
- Wireless & Networks
- Bluetooth Settings
- Menu

The only option I receive via menu is 'Scan for Devices'

Phone: HTC Hero w/ version 2.1

if you do a rescan it will remove the ones that arent in range or turned off

Copestag - thanks for the reply but that did not work.

Still have two devices that are off and no where near the phone; still shows as 'paired but not connected'.

Any other suggestions?

Press and hold and then select unpair.
