Removing demo loop

Phosin

Lurker
Hi everyone!

A friend of mine at the company I work at let me borrow/play with a Galaxy Nexus for the weekend (I have to give it back on Monday, boooo) but he said it would be fine to remove the demo loop that came stock on the phone if I could find a way (after I am done with it, it will be sent to a store).

Does anyone know how to get it off...and is it possible to get it back on after? And even if I get it off, will the phone work ok...I don't want to break it.

Thanks in advance,
Phosin

by demo loop im guessing your mean the stock boot logo correct? well if so you will have to root the phone in order to change the boot logo but i dotn think you wanna go though that much trouble with a phone and its not even yours, so if you do plan to root it its your fault if you brick his phone my advice is to not even bother at all trust me.
Ohh and i forgot to mention it voids the warranty so yoy really dont wanna root a phone your about to send back to a company
