Root Removing/Disabling Backup Assistant

I'm running SkyRaider 2.5.2 and I hate seeing Backup Assistant in my background apps in System Panel. Would it break anything if I did this....

mv /system/app/VzWBAService.apk /system/app.disabled and
mv /system/app/VzWBAClient.apk /system/app.disabled

I don't know but once I used unrevoked forever I used astro file manager to delete backup assistant and I've had no issues so far

Did you go to the /system/app and delete the files I stated in the first post?

Exactly those same files. I made a backup first just to be on the safe side. I deleted the files 2 days ago and have not run into any problems. Under settings then accounts and sync it no longer shows backup assistant as an option.
