Help removing facebook birthdays from calendar

I'm sure this has been touched upon before but I can't find the thread. I have Facebook and it put all the fb birthdays in my calendar....yuck. so I removed the sync and removed Facebook. I then reinstalled Facebook and didn't sync my contacts or calendar. But the birthdays are still there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Heather, you will need to clear the calendar storage under manage applications. Find "Calendar Storage" and clear the data. Your Gmail and other syncronized calendars will re-sync your content back.
