Help Removing Music

I transferred everything from my old Sony Ericsson to my new HTC Desire S last night via Bluetooth.

I've been looking over the music that was sent over and there are some old songs that I do not want on there. When trying to remove the songs I cannot seem to find a way to do it.

I've downloaded Ring Remover but that only allows me to remove a ringtone and not the actual file from my phone.

This is my first smart phone so I'm not exactly clued up on these things.

I was hoping that someone maybe able to help me.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

The way I would do it is when you attach the phone to comp instead of using the setting (that pops up in notification bar) to sync phone use the option to open it as a writeable drive and then go in and navigate through the music files to manually delete the ones you don't want
