Help Removing password from phone

Hi. I don't like the way my phone is automatically connected to my google account. It means anyone getting hold of my phone could access my email and my checkout. Is there a way to have it not remember the password so that every time it wants to connect for any reason it prompts first? Thanks Matthew

Why not enable pattern lock?

I've never used any locking on any of my dozen or so previous smartphones.

But pattern locking is great on the Desire - I do it without thinking about it.

Thanks for your reply. I'll have a look at pattern lock. I presume therefore it's not possible to remove the password?

No, it stores it.

At least the pattern lock, providing it's not seen entered (I turn off pattern trace/visual feedback) no one can get access to the phone. 5 attempts and it locks and needs you to re-enter your google acct details to unlock again.

It stops my work colleagues messing with it.
