Root Removing ROM

Hey guys.
Got the eclipse rom on my bionic using safestrap and I wish to delete or remove that part, but keep root on the 'safe system'
Trying to do some research myself, but got a wee bit confused. Is safestrap JUST for custom rom swapping? If I uninstall recovery does that do it? I can't remember how I rooted Hahaha. Oh man. Wtf

If there's some info out there just point me in the direction, not afraid to read lol.

You can remove Eclipse without losing root. You can remove any ROM without losing root for that matter.

Thanks Powerbomb. I uninstalled recovery as well as safestrap app and deleted all safestrap files with success. Thanks for the reply.
