Root removing root question

Exchanging my phone today for a blown speaker issue. I am still using the stock ROM. Just don't want any shit from MetroPcs about a rooted phone. Can I just use the factory reset option?

Factory reset usual does not touch system files where root is. You will have to flash new software in recovery or with a PC. I don't gave your phone so i am not sure the specific way to do it.

SuperSu has the option to permanant unroot but I've never tried it. If you have custom recovery on it then there is a back to stock zip in tha all the basics thread that will completely take phone to stock including recovery
