Root Removing Stock Apps After Root??

So I have rooted my phone and messed around with it a little bit but now I want to remove some of the crappy stock apps (mainly CityID). How do I go about doing this? Do I need to follow the steps on how to root to get back back to adb shell or is there an easier way? Sorry for the noobish question.

I used that guide as well as the 10 min video, but wanted to see if there was an easier way to mount and use command line or a file explorer on the phone to remove apps now that my phone is rooted. I'm guessing that there isn't yet from your post.

Due to a NAND lock on the phone, it currently isn't possible to remove files on a phone that has been booted. The only way to mount and remove data from the root partition is through the recovery mode/adb trick.

Unrevoked is currently working on a utility that will remove the NAND lock and give you full file access.
