Help Removing Synced Picasa Photos?

Hello!

I have a huge problem that is related to this. I lost my samsung phone and it's synced to my gmail and tons of picasa web albums. Can anyone tell me how i'll be able to prevent the person who got my phone to not view my gmail and picasa albums? I already changed my passwords. Is this enough? Should i delete my entire picasa account and albums?

Desperately need someone to help. Thank you!

Got the Galaxy Nexus today. (Yay! :D)
However, when I added my Google account it synced my photos that are uploaded in Picasa. (I didn't activate the phone, so I forgot about this.) I don't want these on my phone. I unchecked the box that said to sync the photos, but they're still there.

Does anyone know how to get rid of them? I got rid of them on my Motorola Droid, but I have no idea how now.

Edit: PROBLEM SOLVED.
I first disabled the gallery, thanks to Ice Cream Sandwich. Cleared the gallery's data. Removed the Google account from my phone, then added it again, being sure to uncheck the "sync photos" box. Enabled the gallery. Picasa photos are gone!
I was having the same problem, try this (it worked for me) go to settings, then application manager, there should be the downloaded ones , then running ones then all. go to all then find gallery and click it, there should be an option to clear all data, I saved the pictures i want before hand just incase and clicked clear, when i went to my gallery they were gone and the ones i saved to re add were still there
