Help Repaired phone won't update

Hi all - had my Note fixed - cracked screen replaced and it has come back with a factory reset and Gingerbread installed, but it will not find any updates on the "search for updates" menu or on Kies- I'm with o2 by the way

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if it has been retired so something manual needs to be done?

Updates for Gingerbread when it's almost 2014? I don't think you're ever going to see one again.
