Help Repeat notifications when turning tablet on

[marknbrandon]

Hi,

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I am wondering if anyone else has this issue whereby when the tablet is turned on after a period of being off all the notifications that have already been received (on my phone) are repeated again.

If i have not used the tablet for a week or so I can have up to 10 minutes minutes of alert sounds coming through!

It's not a major issue just a it frustrating, with it being the same Google | facebook | twitter accounts I would have thought it should already know they have all already been read!

Does anyone else have this issue or a fix?

So, does this not affect any other people then?

it happens occasionally but not enough to really bother me. For me it does not seem to be as severe as it is for you. Normally though if I have my tablet on then it will get the notifications before my phone does which is ironic considering that my tablet is usually tethered from my phone.

Yep, its not too bad if both the tablet and the phone are on, but generally the tablet is off at home whilst i am at work, then when i turn it on when i get home i get bombarded with everything I have already seen that day.

I am still puzzled as to why this happens - especially with Gmail as it should know that there is nothing new to pick up.

I have the same problem with eBay, Facebook apps, I believe it's not the tablet's fault.
