Root Repeating Boot, Problems

Newbie
I successfully rooted my Droid 1 (after having 2.2.1 OTA), I had trouble with SPRecovery so I decided to go the CWM Recovery route. I downloaded ROM Manager and flashed it, and put the zip file for Smoked Glass v10 and installed it. It restarted the phone and seemed to install correctly, however, I get the Motorola Symbol, the Droid lettering, and then the Red Eye. The Red Eye freezes, and goes back to the droid lettering, which goes to the red eye, and repeats. I tried resetting the phone, plugged in, not plugged in, without SD card, with SD card, etc, and haven't had any luck. Can you help me out? Any Ideas?

Thank you!

Sound like a bad flash or you messed something up in the process. Did you do a wipe data/cache before installing the rom? If not go into recovery and wipe data/cache and then try to install again.

Now that you mention it, I think I might've not checked the wipe data on ROM Manager, I assume that would be the cause?

I did a factory reset, and it seems to have loaded the ROM just fine. Should I change/account for anything or should I just leave it?

not sure I understand your question?

Same here. Is there still a problem? Or are you asking to see if that should be posted as a good solution. I would like to know as well since I'm not sure if the kernel included with that rom (isn't it an ultra low voltage one?) should be considered the default. Why? IMHO some phones will NOT run stable on an ultra low voltage kernel therefore a standard voltage kernel should be 'stock' on ANY rom, and then let the user experiment from there.
