Hello everyone,
I have been trying to find a way to replace the default phone app on my DX. I know of apps such as DialerOne, etc. but those only replace the dialer. I need to replace the phone application altogether.
Here is my problem:
Whenever I make or receive a call the sensor is put into use (UID 1001 holds it). Normally this wouldn't be a problem but as soon as I make a call the UID 1001 process won't release the sensor. If I make a call and check my battery stats 20 minutes later the UID 1001 process with have 20 minutes (100%) of sensor utilization. I have tried freezing com.motorola.phoneaddonsj and com.motorola.hiddenmenu (i know the menu is just the phone stats, but it was worth a try) and had no luck. I even disable TTY and turned off all settings in call settings to try and resolve this issue.
I recently moved to ApeX 1.3.1 in hopes to resolve the issue, but the problem is still there. I think it is mainly the fault of the Blur dialer...
Any suggestions?
