Help Replace GNex with same or Nexus 4?

I have never had to use my insurance but due to a family member having an accident with my G Nex I am going to have to replace it. I've been more than happy with it and will probably replace it with another G Nex but just wondered if I should get a Nexus 4? Would there be any pros or cons for either? I am in the UK so keep getting the sold out message from the play store so might have to go with the G Nex anyway! Would appreciate your views though.

Thanks in advance!

if you have the cash, and can get the N4, Do it.
is a far superior device in almost every way (only down side is no removable battery)
but the G-nex is still an awesome device, and having to use one every day is not a bad thing.

I second this - if you're lucky enough to get your mitts on a N4 then definitely go for it. The only reason why I got my G'Nex is due to the fact the 4 is always out of stock, but to be honest, I do not regret it at all. The G'Nex is still an awesome phone & should at very least be strongly considered.

I personally miss the feel of my GSM G Nexus in my hand. It felt so much better in my hand. If you can get a 4 for the price you'd be paying for a new Galaxy Nexus, do it! I LOVE the screen on the 4, it's totally worth it just for that.

Also, which no one has mentioned, the Nexus 4 will be faster, in terms of data speeds. The Nexus 4 is HSPA+ 42, while the Gnex is only HSPA+ 21; and that tends to be significanly faster in any area with HSPA+ 42 coverage.
