Replace HTC Lockscreen, an Incredible Find!

Sup guys.

This app is cool but I have a few lil gripes which atm has made me disable it (not uninstall :P).

(using HTC wildfire)
1. when i wake the phone up the defaut HTC lock screen is shown before the widgetlock one, which is annoying and makes it feel unpolished.

2. Can there be opasicty options for the iphone slider, it is a bit intrusive and I would like to see my back ground more.

3. how do I get rid of the sliders that apear above the iphone slider? i want to unclutter the screen...

4. an option to have wallpapers cycle either randomly or in order, i don't care, I have a few wallpaper options, and I would like to see them all.

Hey Marcus, for the additional sliders, if you added them, all you have to do is long press on them and drag them to the trash can, then they will be gone. i know with the WidgetLocker Slider, it is pretty transparent so i can see my bg with that one enabled. as for #'s 1 and 4, i cannot answer, Kevin will be able to though. and i like the wallpaper randomizer option.!
 
I didn't add them, you know when you use the widget locker sliders you get 4, I dunno how to remove the top two (the bottom two are for unlocking etc so they don't need to go).

weird. i only have 1 slider, and it is the unlock slider.....

I'm going to allow custom themes in the future, then someone could always make a more transparent one. If I receive a lot of requests for adjusting the iphone slider transparency directly though I'll consider it.

Long-press where it says "Long-press to drag/drop" and drop it into the trash

This is a good idea and I've started receiving requests for this (perhaps because of the suggestion here). I'll do this for a future release.

1. When ever I wake the phone up with a power button it shows the default HTC lock screen, then my home screen, then the widget lock screen (sometimes it only shows the home screen and not the default lock, but it never go straight to the widgetloock screen.

2. thanks I removed the extra sliders :)

3. you can't add in an option to adjust the transparentcy in the settings, that way everybody is happy :D.

good to hear about 4., that is the one option I was hoping for, (save 1.)
 
Ok, been using locker for a wile now but did a hard ready last night n I am now trying to figure out how I had my incoming calls set up. I did not have to use the stock slider but instead just had the accept or decline buttons come up as if u were on the home screen when the call came in. how do I get back to this?
 
ok, i think I know how to fix this, I will root my phone then remove the htclockscreen app, then it should jump striaght to the widgetlocker one.

did that right at the setup when asked, if I let the phone sleep for about 10 seconds (maybe more like 15-20) then it jumps right to the widgetlocker version, but not if I wake it up before then.
 
I am having the same issue as Diablo. When my device first boots and I unlock WL it shows the HTC white loading screen. I've also noticed this happens from time to time if my phone has been sleeping for quite awhile. It's not a deal breaker or anything, just a little annoying. Other than that I'm really enjoying this app.
 
New update on my issue: I disabled the default lockscreen with an app, but now each time when I wake the phone up it shows the home screen for a good 4 seconds before it shows the lock screen, it does this everytime... I waited a good min and the homescreen was still shown... it really pisses me off :P ... I love the app but this is horrible for me.

Confirming this....also happens to me....
 
Im having a little problem

Say if when i lock the phone on the 5th window, when i unlock the phone it is still on that 5th window, rather than going to the home window. Is there a way to make the home window the default window when i unlock the phone?

I'm confused, is it taking 4 seconds, or is it taking a minute?

If it's taking 4 seconds, it's likely because you had hit the Home button before turning the screen off and then turned the screen back on right away. This is the 5 second rule that Android doesn't allow another program to start within 5 seconds of pressing the Home button. You can bypass this by setting WLocker Helper as your default home. In WidgetLocker go to Settings > Behavior > Clear Default Home and then select the WLocker Helper.

If WidgetLocker isn't showing at all, could it be that you have a task killer killing widgetlocker?
 
hi kevin,

i'm really lovin this app so far. however after updating to 2.2 i've noticed that the htc weather widget is extremely glitchy. for example, if i lock the screen on any screen other than the home screen, the weather animation still shows up on that non-home screen. also, even when on the home screen, the animation is sometimes not in the correct place (if it's sunny, there is a static sun where it normally is and an animated sun just below it). can you take a look into this?
