Replace "ID" MobileID Button?

Is there some way to replace this stupid ID button with the stock internet button? Or is this something we have to wait for ROMs for?

You could just replace your launcher. Search "gingerbread launcher" in the marketplace and you'll find several versions of the launcher with a more stock appearance (really made only for Froyo users).

Or download ADW, a personal favorite as well as a modding community creation...

You can also replace the launcher2 apk under system/app with the original GB launcher. You have to be rooted and use root explorer to replace it. Also made sure that the permission are the same or you may brick your phone.

Once again, fix the permission inn the new launcher the same way as the old launcher with root explorer.

Once again, fix the permission inn the new launcher the same way as the old launcher with root explorer.

By the time you want a different button there, you'll probably want to mod your homescreen further. Otherwise I would say this is a perfect solution. And whoever builds further ROMs for the Warp should include one of these at least.
