Replaced Captivate... Navigation gone?

Hey everyone, multiple force quits, freezes, fb sync problems, GPS issues
And a few drops/scratches/dents

Anyways just returned my Captivate to get another one. No charge and within 30 days. Still have GPS issues and FB Sync issues.

However as I brought it home to play with, I noticed that the Navigation app was gone. I was wondering if this was supposed to come with the phone or downloadable from the android market since I cannot find it with a market search. Was this app integrated into Google maps?

The end question is, how do I get the Navigation app back? Thanks guys!

EDIT: Nevermind, forgot to update Google Maps from the Android market.
It's back now. However, since I STILL dont have GPS locks, who knows if I'll ever use it -.-

my GF's having the same issue with the GPS not determining location. it pisses me off to no end! my droidx locks up reaaaaaaaally fast

The Google Navigation application (blue triangle icon) is a Beta version and installs with Google Maps update. I forget if you will automatically get an update message but I'm pretty sure you can download the update from Marketplace.
