Help Replaced motherboard and now screen is very red

So a few months ago my Captivate took a turn for the worst and got stuck in boot loops. I was able to flash with some non stock stuff but my conclusion was the internal memory was messed up. So I replaced the motherboard (only $30 so worth a shot).

All seems to have gone well except now my screen is very red and the color contrast is kinda poor. Anyone have any tips? I took the phone back apart and reconnected the screen connector and it didn't seem to fix.

One thing I noticed was during update with Mini Kies once it rebooted the phone into whatever diagnostic screen while it installed updated operating system, the colors looked good (I think).

I tried to attach a picture (says new users can't, we'll see) to compare the red to my monitor's white. The volume adjustment dialog shows a good example of the poor contrast I see in some places.

I fully updated in samsung mini kies (all stock, no root) and here's some more random info!
Firmware version 2.3.4
Baseband version I897UCKK4
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-I897UCKK4-CL614489
Build number GINGERBREAD.UCKK4

Let me know if I can provide anything else!

I got CM9.1.0 working on it and colors are still off. So it's not a problem with software. My guess is a problem with the used motherboard I purchased (it was taken out of a phone for one reason or another...).

Still welcome to other ideas if anyone has any.
