Replacement for Lock button

Situation: Broken lock button on Moto Droid.

Requested resolution: Some widget or something that has the same functions (Power off, Airplane mode, silent)

What I do to work around the broken button is I have a lock widget, and if I need airplane mode, I can get to it in Settings. When I need to power down, I pull the battery. And for silent mode, I can just turn the volume down.

Does anyone know of widgets for powering off, or just bringing up the screen that appears when you hold the power button? Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen any widgets or apps that do that.

I know it may not be what you'd hoped to hear, but the only real viable option I can see is taking it in to get replaced under warranty.
