Replacement phone and Apps?

On Saturday I lost my droid, today I received my insurance replacement. I was wondering since my previous phone was rooted, what is the best way to get all my apps back, will they download from google over time?

They will begin downloading from Google yes, but you will need to reroot it to get any root required Apps to work.

Well unfortunately none of my apps came back, I ended up re-downloading them
