Help Replacement phone question

I keep hearing people say VM offers a different phone if they don't have the HTC EVO V 4G anymore. Is this true?

Usually Mobile Carriers keep refurbished replacements in stock LONG past the warranty period in which you can get a replacement device. HOWEVER

Twice while the Evo was out of stock it was escalated and I was given the option to either wait or take a Victory instead, since I have WiMax and no LTE in my area I decided to wait.

Someone should try to hassle with them to give you a Galaxy s 2 or 3

As of right now the system will only allow you to get the Victory.
