Replacing BlackBerry

I'm looking at the EVO 4G to replace my BlackBerry. My brother has one of these and I'm hooked. But lots of questions....

This must function in a corporate setting in addition to personal use. I'm here to learn what I can. Also want to learn more about the Open Source aspect... being a (Unix) SW geek and all.
