Replacing Cyanogen Mod 7 with ICS?

Ballymoss

Hi everybody. 8 months ago I bought a Galaxy S2 on ebay with CM7 installed. Having bought a Galaxy S3 I now wish to replace CM7 with ICS but my efforts so far far have failed miserably.
Samsung Kies will not see the S2, either by USB or by Wi-Fi - I waded through the SK Wi-Fi settings but still no luck ; I clicked only to be told "Connection via Bluetooth is not enabled for Android devices".
There is no "Software Update" option in "About Phone".
I posted this question on the Cyanogen Forums but nobody has replied.

Is there anyway I can get CM7 off my phone?

Please help.

Yes, flash a stock ICS firmware via Odin as described under the heading, "My firmware is not eligible for ICS yet but I want it now!", in post #1, here.

Your problem seems to be your inability to connect to Kies therefore, as you are rooted, you could use Mobile Odin from the Play Store after first making a nandroid and Titanium Backup.

I'm in pain here. Thanks for your reply but a fresh complication is that the SIM card in my S2 is deactivated because I transferred the number to the micro SIM card in my S3, so it looks as though in order to get the CSC code for the S2 I will need to buy a

PLAN B:-

1. Download the latest ICS, unbranded, European, stock firmware, (LPG), here.

2. Sort out your Kies connection problems, here.

I'm British so I'll grit my teeth and try.

BTW I tried getting Odin Mobile and it said my phone wasn't rooted then some gibberish about Superuser permissions, so I clicked for the refund.
