Replacing Droid

I have had a few problems with my droid and my contract is up in december. I have the protection plan for it but if i take it in are they going to throw a refurb at me or a droid 2 or even give me a choice ? I don't want to renew at this point.

I spoke to Verizon today and they dont have any Droid1's in stock rite now. Maybe you could get a 2

A guy at my work was within his 1 year and they gave him a Droid 2.
