Help Replacing micro usb socket

Hi all. I am hoping to replace a damaged usb charging port on my daughters Sensation. A couple of questions if you could help please.
1. The phone part no is 99HNA033-00 and I'm unsure which version of the sensation this is to select the right spare part.
2. Does the repair sound feasible for a decent home repair dad?
I see there are a few versions of the socket around, so need to find the right one.

Try it only if you are very good in desoldering, otherwise you risk to damage the tracks in the PCB, then you are in bigger troubles

A couple of days ago I managed to break the USB port and am looking to replace it myself. Did you end up managing this yourself and if so, which part did you end up buying for the micro-USB slot?
