Reported battery level drops after reboot

Hi,

I've been having a recurring problem on my S2.

Sometimes the phone acts up a bit (freezes, loses connectivity, slows down, etc.) and I reboot it. When it comes back up, the reported battery level drops dramatically, and creeps slowly back up.

I've put a bunch of screen captures here.

Here's an example one:

Any ideas what's happening? Cheers.

Hey rosyatrandom, I've experienced this too.

Are you using the original 1650mAh battery that came with the phone?

It happened to me on a third party "2000mAh" battery (more like 1000mAh judging by the use it gives me).

Against the advice of the dude on XDA, I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration to delete the batt stats. Phone says 100% charged, I plug out charger, hit calibrate in the app, then the battery level drops to like 95% or 98%. Plug in and charge to 100% again.
