reporting posts/threads

the "report post" thingy has this note:

Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.

so what should be used to report a post that's in the wrong forum etc. that require mod attention, but aren't spam/flame?

Using the "Report Post" feature is fine for these also.

The point in that note is to try to keep people from using that to tip us on newsworthy items - which is what the tip us/this links are for.

makes sense - the note just sounds like reporting a post would mean you think it should be deleted


sidenote: the reason why i made this thread was because there was a specific post that i thought was in the wrong place, but i can't remember where/what anymore...
