[Request] A user name to PM all mods to

I like the idea of sending things to Phases (the restraining order prevents me from doing so regularly) and Slug's inbox is probably getting full (mods with short names get the short straw when I need help.)

Could there be a PM address that goes to all of them if there isn't one already? (I guess I should sign up for premium membership as high maintenance as I am sometimes.) Yeah, I could offer to be a mod but that is... like work... or something and besides, I'd be fired the first hour.

PS: It isn't about getting faster service, its just sometimes when threads are merged or split up, that action isn't signed so you aren't sure who to ask about that instead of putting it on blast like "why did blah blah blah thread get moved, or wouldn't blah blah thread be better in section blah?"

Simply report button of the thread in question, And all the mods will see it!

I was under the impression that the report button was only for spam or abuse. There isn't a report button on the Phandroid app yet either. Poor Slug gets stuck with all of the crap. Hmm, in this forum section, I see more mods with short names (maybe I'll spread the love around, hehe.)
 
If you want to know who merged or split something, just PM any mod and we all can see it. Or as Steven said earlier, just hit the report button with your concern/comment/etc about the situation, and we can look into it as we all see that as well. The report button can be used for anything you want to have the mod's attention. Although most of the time, people report spam or people posting offensive stuff, there are plenty of people who report for more trivial reasons as well
 
The thing to do would be to PM a single mod or, even better, use the report post feature.

Sending a private message to all moderators would be confusing for us: we wouldn't know if the issue was fixed and a lot of us would waste time by checking something that was already attended to.

The "report" feature can be used for many things since you can input a "reason" for the report and we will read that. It will be probably be implemented in the Phan app one day. ;)

+1, the report button is the best way to get our attention! :) It's basically the 'MOD inbox' since we all have access to the area and it is easier for us to communicate with each other when a post gets reported. You can PM a MOD and he will take care of it or pass it on to the right person. Now the only problem is that if the MOD that you PM isn't on, it will take awhile before he replies. If you report it, then the immediate MOD in the 'MOD inbox' will take care of your issue.

As I like to preach to other members. We rather have you over report than under report ;)
