ok, so lately i have been having issues with my calender app, i'm not exactly sure why its force closing each time i open it, but it is none the less.

my request requires that you get an app called root explorer, possibly root uninstaller if you want too,

now for root explorer im not saying "pirate it forever" but if your willing to use APPLANET to get it please do to help.

i need someone to use root explorer (or root uninstaller) to get a copy of the calender.apk

for root uninstaller just look under system apps to back it up, (*i do not suggest this method as the instructions to push the calander back it hard*)

for root explorer, open it and navigate to System>app
and in there copy for me

Calender.apk
Calender.odex
CalenderProvider.apk
CalenderProvider.odex
CalenderWidget.apk
CalenderWidget.odex

please anyone, i would really appreciate it as im trying to replace the whole calander set in hopes that its just an issue of a corrupt APK file.

Actually the easiest way to do this is to download the stock rom, unzip it and then get the calendar apk/odex files you need. This also has a backup of all other files that you will need if you ever mess them up.

well that would but i liked the stock calander app and at that im already at the point where the phone is telling me its internal memory is running low D:

EDIT____
asadullah that is a good idea actually, but where could i get the stock rom? *would come in handy cause i just deleted a system LIB messing with the honeycomb music player that leaked >.> lol*

2nd EDIT______

scratch that question asking where i could get one, i forgot i had a copy of ROM zero :O! lol

a new issue has shown itself o.0
i unzipped the rom, copied the files i needed, and replaced them. set the proper permissions and rebooted my phone.
now the issue is the calender app won't show up or open at all

i noted i was on 2.2.1, and rom zero was 2.2, had to locate a 2.2.1 for the files

OH BUT GEE, THANKS BUNCH FOR THE EXTRA HELP, THOUGHT, AND LINKS ;D
