Root [REQUEST] SDcard Partitioning

Fathers day is about to arrive and I've filled out my requisition form for a Class 10, 32GB sdcard.

Along with that new card, I'd appreciate it if one of our more knowledgeable members would post an SDcard partitioning tutorial for taking advantage of the a2sd supported ROMS we have in our little corner of AF.
I've seen multiple videos and tutorials, some using Gpart and some using command line.
Myself, I'll probably use good ole Partition Magic but I think we need a well written tutorial that everyone can easily follow.

I'd give it a try but I'm afraid I'd miss some of the hidden nuances involved.

Thank you!

If this is for your phone, which it seems likely you can use the custom recovery to format your card as well,

This is joneidy's obviously but the other one has the same menu options.
go to partition sd card in there it will ask about swap, you can use the volume buttons to increase or decrease the amount put swap at 0mb to not use then it will ask about ext2 partition create that in the size you want, 512mb or less I would say then format the rest as fat32.

After you created that ext2 partition you will go to the menu choice convert ext2 to ext3. There might even be an option to convert to ext4 I dont remember however I think ext3 is good enough.

I really appreciate the guidance new optimus, but I was hoping to gig someone into writing a comprehensive tutorial that could be stickied.
As I said, I would try but I'm am afraid I might miss some of the subtle process nuances.
