Researching best tablet

[cmgpc]

This is my first use of a chat forum so I hope I am in the right place. I am trying to get some assistance in deciding the best tablet to purchase. I am pretty sure I don't want an Ipad......just not into the Apple scene. I am a trial attorney and would like to use the tablet in my work. (I hope I can utilize "the cloud" to store documents, research, presentations, etc. and then use the tablet for managing the media). I would also use the tablet for recreational use (solitaire and using the web). I have found the transformer prime with docking station interesting, but it is expensive (I an a government attorney, not private practice). I think the usb would be helpful and haven't found that feature on other tablets. Can you help me figure out where I should be looking? Thanks for listening.
