So I've been super psyched about this phone coming out, googling news results for the phone at least twice a day concerning when it will come out; however, I don't get the whole pre-order, buy the day it arrives attitude... Doesn't anyone care to wait the extra 1-4 days it takes for a solid review to come out on the phone? Doesn't the thunderbolt have one of the smallest batteries of smartphones on the market? I don't know, it just seems silly not to at least find out how the phone is or if it drops calls when you hold it wrong before locking yourself in any sort of contract.

I reserved mine today at BBuy. Expected date is Feb 14. You have 2 weeks to try it out. If it is not all expected you all will be the first to know. On paper it has everything I want. Seidio will come out with a more powerful battery most likely. If not carry a spare. I find it hard to believe it will not make it though a day. It may be the smallest but not by much. The effeciency of the processor and operating system will have far greater effect than the battery itself. I overclock my droid at 1100 and have plenty of battery left at the end of the day. But we shall see. If you wait you may avoid any bugs but if it proves to be the phone it is supposed to be you will have a long wait if you don't get on the bus early. I learned that with the Dinc.

Yea I work at Best Buy and it is $249.99 on a 2 year contract. We have the pre release papers in our binders. It also says the 14th is release date but "is subject to change" so hopefully the 14th but it could be longer! hell id be happy if it was shorter
