Root [RESOLVED]Black screen PG's CM10

When I reboot my phone after the boot animation I get stuck in a black screen, can't do anything except access the power options. I tried re-flashing cm10 and it seemed to fix it but now the play store is having problems, so I flashed gapps and again with the black screen after the boot animation, tried flashing the ROM and gapps together but still get the black screen
Has anyone had this problem before?

Can you unlock the screen while it's black? I get that sometimes. If I unlock, then rotate it, I can see about 1/3 of the screen. Usually I just restart & it's fine. I get it about every 2 days.
Rarely, it goes away on its own.

When I had that problem, I couldn't unlock the phone, only access the power options
