Help [Resolved] Lost phone numbers ?

Mdanehart

Newbie
After the latest update I did a factory reset and I thought I backed up my device!

Before the reset I had 350 contacts and now for some reason I lost 47 of them?
What sucks it's the 47 that I make contact with the most.

Any chance to locate these in cyber space?

If they were stored on Google then yes, if they were store on your device and set up in your phone only I would say no. Login from a PC to your GMail account and check your contacts from there and see if those contacts are there, if they are simply sync your Gmail with your phone. If not then it means when you entered those contacts in your phone you set them up as phone contacts and not Google contacts. ;)

Yep, just spoke with Verizon and I am hosed. When I come back to work from V-time I will have to download my co/managers contacts with mine for a partial list.

Thanks for the input.

Yes, I did save them in Google, but the last 47 where in the Iphone 5 which did not have Google. But all ok...I downloaded my contacts in my wife's phone which I forgot about, but she reminded me!👍

I will mark this thread resolved, but also remember to put those 47 on Google for future reference before you forget, LOL ;)
