Help RESOLVED: Music Player and "Cannot Play This File Type"

RonDotCom

I tried to find any other related info in other forums, but it seems like this is a sparse issue with Triumph users.

Ok SO:

When using my Triumph to play music I can get it to play files fine, however if I pause the music and go back to the home screen/use another app/make a call the triumph won't let me start playing music files again.

Basically when I come back to DoubleTwist or the stock music player it gives me a "Unable to play this type of audio file". These files are all mp3s that played previously and don't have any DRM.

If I reboot the phone it seems to fix this error, until I repeat the above.

The solutions I have found elsewhere don't seem to be working, for instance "Remove the stock twitter app". I've rooted my phone and removed the twitter app.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. It seems that TaskKiller Pro was the problem. Even though you can set TaskKiller Pro to ignore the music player there are other background processes that it kills that cause the player to not recognize music files on the SD card after a kill.

Unistalled it, have had no problems since.
