Root [Resolved]Phone Stuck in Backup - TWRP 2.7.0.7

I have been trying to get Wifi Tether Router working on my M8 but not having any luck. I keep restoring a backup after each 'fix' I run that doesn't work. Since it has been about a week since I last backed up and I keep getting app updates every time I restore so I decided to run another backup right now.

TWRP has been stuck in the backup for almost an hour now and the bar at the bottom is almost half way, it hasn't moved for over 45 minutes but the bars are moving across. I tried to hold the power button, volume buttons, power and volume and nothing happens (except I get a screen shot on power+vol down).
I connected it to my computer but ADB isn't showing it as a connected device and neither is fastboot (checked just in case).
I don't know what to do. Phone got hot as heck so I removed the case and it cooled down somewhat. Any ideas?

It's probably just hung up, Hold the power button and the volume up button until it powers down. Immediately hold volume down once the screen goes dark. That'll get you back into the hboot. Otherwise just do the volume up and power combo to reboot the phone.

Check and see if it actually made a backup. If it did, I would probably trash it. Don't trust it since it hung up.

Also, when was the last time y updated your recovery?

Whew, that did it. Thanks for recommending it. I tried that but I just didn't do it long enough so I thought I was screwed!
I updated it to the latest version and had an issue a few months ago and it was recommended to go to this specific version for best results and I have never had a problem until right now.
Backup folder had 0 bytes in it so it never even started.
