[Resolved] Problem using volum +/- as shortcut

I have tried to fix the settings so that I can use volum +/- button as shortcut for Qnote and Camera. I went to Settings, General, Shortcut key, and tapped the On/Off switch.

But it seems even if I flick the button to on, changes will still not take.
Launching Qnote or camera still fails every time.

Any ideas?

Latest OTA and brand new phone. So should not really be any problems. Yet there is.

Ok, I did a factory reset and wiped everything from the Lg G3. Startet out with a backup of how the phone was delivered to me before any apps, widgets or updates. Funny thing is that now the volume + button works perfect as a shortcut. The volume - button launches front facing camera. I find that very odd, because I have not seen anywhere an option to choose which camera should launch via volume shortcut.

Any ideas what causes "selfie" cam to launch and not rear facing cam?

Maybe it goes off the most current selection within your camera app (rear or front). Try opening the cam normally and if it's set to front cam, change it to rear, then retry the shortcut.
