Help [RESOLVED] still no wifi hotspot in Froyo?

I don't see any "Tethering & portable hotspot" under "wireless & networks" settings as instructed in the Froyo manual. So Verizon has it blocked? Still have to root to do it, I suppose?

Of course VZW took out the built in function, they want your money.
