Hello all. Not sure if this has been posted already or not but thought I would share this helpful tip...
As many of you know, the Bionic can have some pretty annoying issues with losing the network connection when switching between 3G/4G. And it always seems to happen at the worse times.
This is by no means a fix for the problem but I have been using the following app to quickly and easily restart my data connection:
"Restart Connections" by DAZBRADBURY,
which can easily be found in the market and best of yet, it's Free! (Sorry I can't create direct link).
Download and simply put the app on your homescreen and you have an instant one-click method to restart your connection, without the hassle and time of toggling airplane mode on/off or rebooting your phone entirely. The app takes only 10-15 secs to completely cycle through and has worked every time I have used it.
I was out running errands today and I went to pull up a QRC coupon on my phone and wouldn't you know it.... no freaking connection. People waiting behind me in line... I hit this app and I had the Internet up and running in no time. Very convenient and eased a lot of frustration.
Enjoy!
