Help Restart option turns phone off

When I hold down the power button, I get three options. Power off, Airplane mode, and Restart, which is supposed to close all apps and restart the phone. Mine never restarts though, it just powers off and I have to press the power button to turn it back on again. Does anyone else's do this?

mine has always just restarted. Are you waiting long enough before you hit power button?

I've let it sit for 10 minutes before, and it never came back up.

try selecting fastboot....settings/power/fastboot (checkbox)....

mine does the same thing, restart shuts down phone, but it dosent come back on.
