Root Restore after change in HBOOT layout...

Hey guys, quick question as i cant find answer specific enough.

Im currently running CM7 HBOOT + ReDux 1.2

If i do a nandroid with that layout, then flash back to stock HBOOT can i then restore and everything be fine or will it be all mucked up from changing the partition sizes?

as long as nandroid fits the current hboot, it should not be a problem.
in this case, cm7 fits in stock

Thanks, thought so. just wanted to double check. the other thing i dont understand is how can the gingersense ROMs and HD Roms fit into even the stock HBOOT when the unzip to over 300mb?? I know some of it is written to the SD card anyway by script but that much? Or is it a stupid question lol

Like you say, its packed off to sd. It fills /system then the rest to ext

So i tried it...

Before - CM7 HBOOT, ReDux 1.2, SD Card = FAT/1g Ext3

After - Stock HBOOT, Restore ReDux 1.2, SD Card = Same

Unlocked screen all apps force close and phone goes into bootloop lol.

Thinking maybe it was the apps? like to many apps installed and not enough space on the DATA partition?

Flashed back to CM7 Hboot and same thing happens... looks like it corrupted my backup also

its old sense from leaked rom

and leedroid GB doesnt fit in sense table
